Passionate about shaping the lives of young children? Noah’s Ark Day Care and Learning Center is seeking a patient, attentive part-time Daycare/Pre-School Teacher to care for our children, ages Infant - 5 years old, 25 hours per week from 12:30 PM to 5:30 PM.

Our Daycare/Pre-School Teacher will routinely assist children and parents during pickup. We are looking for a daycare employee who comes to work prepared, cares for children, and wants to help parents as they transition their children from the daycare center. This Daycare/Pre-School Teacher will work with the Daycare Director and be assigned to classrooms as needed.

Benefits: Salary of $ 17.50 to 18.50/ hour; Paid time off time off

Summary of Position: The Preschool Teacher is responsible for the following duties.

Motivated to care for and educate young children.
Team-player, as this position will often require that you will be co-teaching with another teacher.
Implementing daily activities, weekly themes, art, newsletters, circle-time, music and movement and engaging in activities throughout the day to keep the children stimulated.
Diapering and potty training if needed.
Follows a daily schedule.
Provide a safe and nurturing fun-loving environment.
Enhance children’s development through play.
Maintains a safe workplace while monitoring children’s health behavior and reporting any concerns that may arise.

Requirements:

CDA and or a minimum of an associate degree in Early Childhood Education, general education, child study or a related field.
CPR/first aid certificate required.
Must provide 3 references.
A valid NYS state driver’s license required.
Must be willing to take and maintain regular training development courses.
Someone of good character who truly enjoys working with children.
Can demonstrate to be professional, reliable and honest.
Physical Demand: Must be able to lift between 50 pounds
