Passionate about shaping the lives of young children? Noah’s Ark Day Care and Learning Center is seeking a patient, attentive Daycare/ Infant Teachers, both full and part-time, to care for children. The daycare workers will assist parents with preparing meals, maintaining children’s hygiene, monitoring health, and their behavioral and emotional concerns. We are looking for a daycare employee who comes to work prepared, holds attention to details, engages children with appropriate age activities, and maintains a clean environment for children to thrive in.
Benefits: Salary of $17.50 to $18.50/HR, [based on experience]

Summary of position: The Infant is responsible for the following duties
- Follow a daily schedule.
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment.
- Enhance children’s development through play.
- Practice tummy time as needed.
- Able to put and take children out of car seats cautiously and safely.
- Diaper changes.
- Make sure the classroom is always clean and presentable.
- Must be able to provide daily feeding and sleeping schedules for children.
- Able to sanitize bottles and feed them with bottles.
- Maintains a safe workplace while monitoring children’s health behavior and reporting any concerns that may arise.
- Prior experience with infants 6 weeks of age is a must.
- Experience with infant care is preferred. (1 year)
- CDA and or a minimum of an associate degree in Early childhood education, general education, child study or a related field.
- CPR/first aid certificate required.
- Must provide 3 references.
- A valid NYS state driver’s license is required.
- Must be willing to take and maintain regular training development courses.
- Someone of good character who truly enjoys working with children.
- Can demonstrate to be professional, reliable and honest.
- Physical Demand: Must be able to lift to 35 pounds
